We’re Curtis and Rachel, the husband-and-wife team behind every handcrafted piece at Maxilyn House. Our two kids, Maximus and Madelyn, are the heart of our family and business, our brand name Maxilyn House is a heartfelt combination of their names and our favorite place to be. They aren't just the inspiration behind our name—they’re at the heart of everything we do (and a huge part of our motivation to turn our passion into a business).
For the past 15 years, we’ve bonded over our love for DIY projects, and through the years, we've crafted countless items for our own home, finding joy in the process of making our space cozy and inviting. Whether it was a hand-poured soy wax melt filling our living room with a soothing aroma or a crochet throw adding the perfect touch of softness, we realized that our passion for creating wasn’t just a hobby—it was something we wanted to share with others.
